The breakfast club
The Breakfast Club is one of the most iconic movies of the 80's. It touches upon the subject of teens and their high school experiences. Each teen is different due to their surroundings, or upbringing, or simply their state of mind. A story of 5 teens each meeting for the first time on the day of Saturday detention, pour pour their hearts out to one another. At 7 a.m they had absolutely nothing to say to one another, but by 4 in the afternoon they find out that they have much more in common with each other than they ever would have thought. To everyone else they each had their own stereotypes. The brain, the princess, the athlete, the basket case, and the criminal. To each other they would always remain as "The Breakfast Club" This movie is so relatable to teens across the USA because we all know a kid that resembles at least one of these kids to some degree. Another great thing about the film is that you really see each kid change in one way or another. Whether is just be taking in the views of another or just coming out of their stereotypical shell for even a minute.
